You can purchase Denatured Ethanol or Denatured Alcohol from Supermarkets, Hardware Stores, Petrol Stations, and Corner Shops.

Denatured Ethanol/Denatured Alcohol burns clear and does not spit out sparks like a regular fireplace.  It does not emit smoke, harmful gases or dirt.  The life of the fire is determined by the amount of fuel in the fireplace canisters. Once the fuel has burnt, there is nothing to clean. The fire goes out, ready for you to restart after unit has cooled.

Fireplace does not require any form of permanent fixture or fitting, such as a vent,
a permanent gas connection or any kind of fixed utility for fuel supply.  Denatured Ethanol or alcohol is certified safe to burn indoors without venting, because
its main by-products are carbon dioxide, water steam and heat.

In a house of typical construction an adequate supply of air for combustion and ventilation is provided through infiltration. However, do not install or operate in a bathroom or any other small room.

Standard equipment includes a lighter with an extended handle.
